Helloooo... As usual, i will continue my entry about famous local foods.. Today, we're gonna know more about Terengganu's local dishes.
Terengganu food has shown the influence of Thai and taste. Terengganu has abundance of rice based dishes such as nasi dagang, nasi kunyit, nasi kuning, nasi berlauk, nasi lemak and nasi kerabu. There is laksam, laksa Terengganu, otak-otak, sata, ketupat sotong and kerepok lekor.
Here's are some of their popular dishes.
- Keropok Lekor.

- It is also called fish sausage, fish stick or fritters. It is made from fish and sago flour and seasoned with salt and sugar. It is slightly greyish in color and tastes fishly.
- There are two types of Keropok Lekor; Keropok Lekor Goreng ( shaped into sausage size and tastes more chewy )and Keropok Keping ( shaped slices and has crispier texture).
- Nekbat Terengganu.

- It made from rice flour and eggs.
- Nekbat are usually prepared in 2 phases. In the first phase, dough is baked and cooked until fluffy like bahulu but fresh and harder.
- It cooked to be stored dry or sold to consumers who will provide it before serving. This dry Nekbat last longer and can be stored in the refrigator.
- Ketupat Sotong.

- It also known as "Sotong Sumbat" and "Pulut Sotong".
- It made from glutinous rice cooked in coconut milk.
- The glutinous rice is cooked with coconut milk before squid stuffed into.
